PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stacking apparatus 11 capable of surely arranging articles 12 in a stacking pattern and stabilizing the stacking state of the articles 12 stacked on a pallet. SOLUTION: The articles 12 are supplied by a supply conveyer 22, and the articles 12 on a transport surface 22a of the supply conveyer 22 are moved onto a transfer part A2 provided substantially flush with the transport surface 22a of the supply conveyer 22 and connected thereto while being slid on the surface by a transfer means 14, and arranged corresponding to the stacking pattern for one stage to be stacked on the pallet on the transfer part A2. The articles 12 arranged in the stacking pattern by the transfer means 14 are shaped into the stacking attitude of being stacked on the pallet by a shaping means 24, and the articles 12 shaped into the stacking attitude are stacked on the pallet by a stacking means 23. The articles 12 can be surely arranged in the stacking pattern by the transfer means 14, shaped into the stacking attitude by the shaping means 24, and the articles 12 can be stabilized in the state of being stacked on the pallet.
