METHOD OF EVALUATING WAVY HAIR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate the degree of a wavy hair or the effect of a method of correcting and treating the wavy hair by measuring the major axis and minor axis of the hair without destroying the same and determining sectional shape of the hair from the result of the measurement. SOLUTION: The degree of the wavy hair and the effect of the method of correcting and treating the wavy hair is evaluated by determining the numerical value obtained by dividing the minor diameter of the hair by the major diameter as a sectional shape index and this sectional shape index as an index.
