PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive pharmaceutical preparation containing a bivalent metal and having plural applications comprising the treatment and/or diagnosis of various animal diseases, especially cancer, and provide the administration method and producing method of the pharmaceutical preparation. SOLUTION: The radioactive pharmaceutical preparation containing a bivalent metal such as calcium and administered by injection after freezing and thawing contains a complex containing at least one kind of radioactive nuclear species compounded to a ligand or its physiologically permissible salt, especially 153Sm ethylenediamine tetramethylene phosphonic acid salt. The presence of a bivalent metal is essential in the radioactive pharmaceutical preparation and the freezing of the preparation is carried out exclusive in the case that the period before the administration of the preparation is sufficiently long to cause the radioactive decay of the ligand.
