PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a screen of a cathode ray tube is provided to reduce a fabricating cost by forming a metal reflection layer on one side of a shadow mask instead of forming the metal reflection layer on a fluorescent layer. CONSTITUTION: An inner face of a panel(100) is cleaned. A PAD+ Azide series is applied and dried thereon by using a rotary coating method. A red, a blue, and a green fluorescent layer are exposed by using high pressure mercury. A photo-resist layer is formed by developing a photo-resist. A light absorbing material is formed on the photo-resist layer. A black matrix(110) is formed thereon. A concave-convex layer is formed on the black matrix(110). A green, a blue, and a red fluorescent layer(111) are formed on the concavo-convex layer. A mask is deposited on one side of a shadow mask(120) or a metal reflection layer(112) is formed thereon.
