PURPOSE: A motor of an electric power steering system is provided to form a space for safely mount an O-ring between a motor housing and an end housing for improving the sealing of the motor. CONSTITUTION: A motor of an electric power steering system includes a hollow motor housing(10) of which a side is opened, a rotation shaft(20) rotatably mounted in the motor housing and extended to the outside of the motor housing via the opened part, an end housing positioned outside the rotation shaft for closing the opened part of the motor housing, a female screw(11) formed inside the opened part of the motor housing, and a male screw(44) formed on outer peripheral surface of the end housing to be engaged with the female screw.
