PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of mounting a plurality of recording media and having a small power consumption. SOLUTION: The imaging device comprises two slots of first and second slots, a DC/DC circuit connected to a power source, and a switch for electrically turning ON, OFF external recorders provided corresponding to the slots. The slot is selected by a user or based on a predetermined priority. The switch corresponding to the selected slot is closed to electrically connect the recorder to the DC/DC circuit. The switch is turned OFF for the recorder provided corresponding to the non-used slot to electrically cut off the recorder provided corresponding to the non-used slot from the DC/DC circuit.
