PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of recorded signal quality at the time of high-speed recording. SOLUTION: Beam power of recording laser beam is set at top power at which the pit is formed in a segment for forming a pit, and is set at bottom power at which no pit is formed in a segment for forming a land after the pit has been formed until the next pit will be formed, thereby the pits and lands of from 3T to 11T are formed by irradiating a recording surface of a dye-based optical disk with the recording laser beam. At the time of recording at a multiple speed equal to or more than a prescribed value, a value of bottom power is set at about zero in a portion of the section for forming each land, and is set at a constant value other than zero in the rest of the section. Alternatively, at the time of forming the land of 3T, it is set at about zero in the entire section for forming the land, and at the time of forming the land longer than 3T, it is set at a constant value other than zero in the entire section for forming the land. |
