PURPOSE: A method for storing and displaying caption information of a television is provided to display caption information of selected channel at the time demanded by a user after storing the caption information of the presently selected channel according to the demand of the user. CONSTITUTION: A method for storing and displaying caption information of the television includes the steps of extracting caption information and broadcasting program information service from broadcasting signal, sorting and storing caption information according to the broadcasting program information service when a caption storing mode is on, and displaying the sorted and stored caption information in order when a caption display mode is on. |
