The invention concerns a method for co-precipitating actinides in oxidation state (IV) which consists in: adding an organic complexing agent selective of actinides (IV) and consisting only of oxygen, carbon, nitrogen and hydrogen atoms, to a first aqueous solution of an An<1> actinide in oxidation state (IV) to form an An<1> actinide complex in oxidation state (IV); adding said complexing agent to at least a second aqueous solution of an An<2> actinide in oxidation state (IV) to form an An<2> actinide complex in oxidation state (IV); mixing intimately said first and second complex solutions; simultaneously precipitating said at least two complexes of An<1> (IV) and An<2> (IV) actinides derived from said mixture. The invention also concerns a method for preparing mixed oxides by calcining the resulting precipitate. Said mixed oxides can be used in particular for making MOX-type nuclear fuel.
