PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a document of a target language by accurate and natural expression, where contents which a user wants to express are just enough expressed. SOLUTION: When a translation unit retrieval request is inputted from an input part 1, a translation unit retrieving part 12 retrieves translation units being similar to a retrieval key from a translation unit storing part 11 and transmits them to translation unit control part 15. The control part 15 displays the translation units in a display part 6. When the user designates an instruction for selecting the translation unit TU among the translation units displayed in the display part 6 and the position LS of the original language expression TUS of the translation unit TU from the input part 1, an oiginal language document editing part 3 receives the original language expression TUS of the translation unit TU from the control part 15 and arranges it to the designated position LS of the document DS of the orginal language. In the same way, a target language expression TUT of the translation unit TU is arranged at the designated position LT(=LS) of the document DT of the target language. |
