PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem of a conventional broadcast receiver having a function of limiting program viewing that has often caused viewers it that the viewers cannot sufficiently enjoy programs because of the necessity of consciousness of entry/retire of viewers for operations and settings such as entry of a password. SOLUTION: The broadcast receiver of this invention performs identification of a viewer, placing a limit on viewing to the identified viewer and its release by itself so that the viewer can sufficiently enjoy programs.
