The outer casing (1) of the stent's tubular body consists of several annular support sections (2,2.1,2.2,2.3) with arm-elements (3,3.1,3.2,3.3) joined in the stent's longitudinal direction by connecting arms (4,4.1,4.2). The arm-elements of at least one first support section and a second support section adjacent in a first direction run sinusoidally in the stent's peripheral direction. At the flex points (5.2,5.3) pointing in the first direction (6.1)of the first support section, the connecting arms engage with the second support section.
