PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug for a liquid container which is efficient in mounting on a spout of a cap on a contents filling machine, while the cap can be completely mounted on the spout in a clicking manner and the cap has a structure resistant to pressure and impact. SOLUTION: In the plug 10 comprising a cap 100 and a spout 200, the cap has a sealing ring 120 hanging on a lower surface of a concave-mirror-formed top plate 110 having a flange 111 along an outer periphery. A tight fitting portion 121 with the spout is provided on an upper outer peripheral surface of the ring. An annular locking recess 122 is provided on a lower outer peripheral surface. The spout has a pour-out cylinder 220 standing on an upper surface of an inner periphery of a lower end flange 210. An annular locking protrusion 222 is provided at a position corresponding to the locking recess of the cap on the inner peripheral surface of the pour-out cylinder so that it can be engaged with/disengaged from the recess. |
