PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive suspension device for an illuminator which permits the support performance of a hoisting accessory for support and the attachment workability of the hoisting accessory for the support to improve. SOLUTION: The top of a hoisting accessory 5 is provided with a neck (frame) 31 and a hook head 32. A longitudinal board 12 of a support 4 and a hoisting holding board 13 of the support offer a hoisting accessory through hole 21 penetrating a hook head and a neck and consecutive latching holes 26 on the bottom of the through hole 21, respectively. The hoisting accessory 5 is lowered after its top is passed through the through hole 21 and set on the support by hooking the head 32 on the latching holes 26 from above. A tool insertion hole 24 comprising a rectangular hole is provided on the both sides of the narrow width hole 23 of the through hole 21 which the neck of 31 is capable of being passed. The feature of this invention includes the latch of the hoisting accessory 5 from a support 4 by projecting the hole edge 25 of the narrow width hole 23 to the narrow width hole 23 side to narrow the width Cs of the narrow width hole 23 than the width B of the neck 31 by employing a slotted driver inserted into the insertion hole 24 after the hoisting accessory 5 is hanged and held on the hoisting holding board 13.
