PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable partition preventing the intrusion of a light shining through a clearance between a rail and a slide panel without abutting fin bodies on the slide panel. SOLUTION: This movable partition is so formed that a clearance is provided on the bottom side of a traveling rail 1 and the slide panel is disposed therein. This partition is characterized in that the soft fin bodies 3 accepted in the leg length to the upper face of the slide panel 2 are suspended oppositely to each other over the approximately full length of the longitudinal both edges of the lower face of the rail 1 and longitudinal boards 4 having the height of approximately intermediate parts of the fin bodies 3 are erected inside the opposite fin bodies 3 on the upper face of the slide panel 2.
