PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silent chain transmission mechanism for transmitting power between sprockets having different number of teeth that can reduce vibration and noises by suppressing a cordial action for all sprockets and exhibit high driving performance and durability by suppressing the variation of chain tension. SOLUTION: Sprockets 11, 12, and 13 having different number of teeth have a different sprocket tooth form cut at a specific cutting addendum modification X, and the outer flank of the silent chain 20 has a tooth surface shape contoured by envelops contacting all the different sprocket tooth forms of the sprockets 11, 12, and 13 in winding and sitting the chain, thereby suppressing the chordal action for all sprockets 11, 12, and 13.
