PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily mold a protruding section or a thicker section formed on the end surface sides of a roof tile, reduce the cost by reducing the working space and the equipment cost or the like for the molding, increase the quality and the yield, and improve the roof tile molding. SOLUTION: When a tile base material Y1 is planarly pressed by a pair of matched dies 3a and 3b, and press-molded, the end section side of the tile base material Y1 is pressed from the side direction of the die joined section of the pair of the matched dies 3a and 3b. Thus, the end section side is press- molded.
