<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an orthodontic medical appliance having no hygienic problem in mouth, capable of applying sufficient repulsion in spite of having a small size, hardly damaging teeth, and capable of performing accurate orthodontic therapy. SOLUTION: This medical appliance comprises a pair of magnet structures inclosing permanent magnets; a holder having a shape allowing movement of the magnet structures only along nearly one axis; and fixing members for fixing the medical appliance in a mouth, fixed to the respective magnet structures. The pair of magnet structures are disposed in the holder such that the magnet structures magnetically repel each other.</p> |
