PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide roll bodies useful for producing an epoch-making thin, small piece rice cracker. SOLUTION: The roll bodies are used for producing a thin, small rice cracker in which plural rodlike doughs having a crosssectional shape of a gap 3 in a plane view are continuously formed by introducing a steamed, kneaded unhardened rice dough 4 into the gap 3 formed by opposing recessed parts 1a and 2a in parallel with and in close vicinity to two roll bodies 1 and 2 equipped with the recessed parts 1a and 2a side by side, successively, the rodlike dough 5 is cooled and solidified and then the rodlike dough 5 is thinly cut perpendicularly to the length direction of the rodlike dough 5 by a proper means. The shape of the gap 3 in a plane view formed by the opposing roll bodies 1 and 2 of the roll bodies 1 and 2 is set to be a rhombic or circular shape.
