PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller cage of a deep rolling tool capable of unlimitedly keeping precision prescribed during deep rolling of a crankshaft. SOLUTION: The roller cage guides at least one deep rolling roller of the deep rolling tool for carrying out deep rolling of a rounded corner portion or a fillet portion of a journal bearing or crank pin of the crankshaft. The roller cage is supported on an end portion of a long leg portion of an L-shaped tool holder. In the roller cage, the tongue portion is guided in the longitudinal direction of a long leg portion to have a play space, and the tongue portion is engaged, out of an end portion of the long leg portion, in a vertical groove formed on the lower face of the roller cage. The vertical groove of the roller cage is wider than the tongue portion by 0.5 to 2.5 mm. At least one element is disposed on the end portion of the long leg portion to be engaged into a recess formed on the face of the roller cage facing the end portion of the long leg portion. |
