METHOD OF CHARGING FEE IN PRINTING SYSTEM USING MOBILE INFORMATION TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reasonable method for charging a fee having a usability for a user in a fee-charging method for a printing fee of a printing system wherein a printer performs printing by obtaining high resolution information to be printed corresponding to print request information from a mobile information terminal. SOLUTION: In the printing system, a content server 30 authenticates authentication information given to a user who has a contract with a mobile telephone company and then reading of the contents via a mobile telephone 10 and downloading of the content information to be printed to the printer 20 can be executed. The content server 30 or the printer 20 calculates the fee to be charged corresponding to the printing contents and the printer 20 sends the charging information directly or through the mobile telephone 10 to the mobile telephone company and the mobile telephone company collects the charged fee from the user by procuration and pays the fee to a predetermined payee by subtracting the prescribed handling fee.
