PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airtight and heat-insulating construction method for enabling an existing wooden building to acquire airtight and thermal insulating properties, high durability, energy conservation, amenity, etc., in such a state that the building remains inhabited while generating little industrial waste. SOLUTION: The construction method is characterized as follows: a roof surface or a ceiling surface undergoes the execution of airtight and adiabatic work by fastening a substrate material 4 under a roof rafter 1 or a purlin 2 so as to spray foam-in-place polyurethane 5 on the under surface of the substrate material 4 or spraying the polyurethane 5 on the top surface of a ceiling board 6; the polyurethane 5 is injected between an exterior wall material 8 and an infilled thermal insulating material 7 or into a gap between the material 7 and an interior finish material 9 without removing the material 7 in order to allow the inside of a wall body to acquire the airtight and thermal insulating properties; and the polyurethane 5 is sprayed inside a continuous footing 10 and on the surface of dirt floor concrete 11. |
