<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission apparatus which automatically changes transmission data species in a specified band when usage of a band in an optical circuit is changed, by automatically following the change and eliminating the necessity of manual resetting. SOLUTION: This transmission apparatus has a detection section that detects an identifier (CI-ID) for identifying the use of a reception band, an identifier setting section that in advance sets an identifier (CI-ID) for identifying the use of an expected band, and a control section that monitors the detection section and the identifier setting section for each smallest unit of the circuit, wherein the control section periodically monitors the identifier for identifying the use of the reception band in a predefined band, and if the identifier is different from that for identifying the use of the expected band, resets the identifier for identifying the use of the expected band to the identifier for identifying the use of the reception band.</p> |
