<p>The invention concerns a method for controlling a particle filter (14) equipping an internal engine exhaust line (10), which consists in regenerating the filter (14) by particle combustion. The invention is characterised in that it determines the efficiency (ε) of regeneration by comparing the value of released energy (E) during the regeneration process and a value corresponding to the efficiency (ε) of regeneration. The invention also concerns a method for detecting malfunction of the device measuring the particle filter (14) loading, and a method for diagnosing deterioration of the filter (14).</p> |
