<p>The present invention provides a mould release composition including a boron containing component selected from the group consisting of boric acid (B(OH)3), derivatives of boric acid, borates, derivates of borates and mixtures and hydrates thereof. The invention also relates to the use of these compositions in methods of improving the release of concrete from the surface and in the production of concrete articles.
