PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to the appearance of a weather strip for open car caused by a gap formed by separating the end of a seal part 14h of a mold part 14 from the end of an outer cover 16, where the open car weather strip comprises a first part 12 mounted on a front pillar by a retainer 11, a second part 13 mounted on a header panel, and a molding part 14 connected to the first part 12 and to the second part 13, wherein the above retainer 11 consists of a concavity 11a where a holding part 12a of the first part 12 is engaged with and held by the above retainer 11, and a cover part 11b reaches the end of outer cover 16 of the front pillar 2, the seal part 14h of the molding part 14 reaches the end of the outer cover 16, and the molding part 14 being formed on an extended part of a seal part 13c of the second part 13. SOLUTION: A hook 22 is formed on the top of a bracket 21 fixed to the retainer 11. The seal part 14h is latched and held by inserting the hook 22 into a grooved hole 23 on the seal part 14h of the molding part 14. |
