PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent composition having excellent detergency, frothing power, rinsing properties, and the like, against the staining of plastics including fiber reinforced plastics, tiles, ceramics, enamelware, glass, and the like. SOLUTION: This detergent composition comprises (A) an N-alkyl or alkenylamino acid or its salt, (B) an N-alkyl-N,N-di(carboxyalkyl)amine or its salt at a mass ratio of component (A) to component (B) of 99/1 to 60/40, and (C) a sulfone type anionic surface active agent.
