PURPOSE: A rattrap for tracking rats is provided to help a person engaged in a rat exterminating work to easily find out a rat hole, a habitat of the rats, a passage of the rats, and so on. CONSTITUTION: The rattrap for tracking rats comprises a feed bucket for receiving feed, a rubber band(18) to be caught by an upper rubber band hook and a lower rubber band hook(2), and a thread container. When a rat steps a footstool(8) with a thread container is disposed on a thread container stand(10), one of the rubber bands is pushed by virtue of a push stick(5), and a bent body portion(21) of the rattrap becomes bounced out of the rattrap to allow a user to track the rat. Namely, the thread container is constructed to be moved with the rat, and a thread(24) of the thread container is released to track the rat.
