<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a self-powered USB hub that eliminates the need for preparation of an AC adaptor separately in the case of carrying the hub with a personal computer. SOLUTION: The USB hub 10 is provided with a hub main body 11 having an upstream side connector 12 and a down-stream side connector 13 and in which a data line DL including a power line VL and a hub circuit 14 is connected between the connectors 12, 13. A power supply circuit 16 that is properly connectable to an external commercial power supply C, obtains a self-power supply from the commercial power supply C and supplies power to the power line VL is assembled in the hub main body 11.</p> |
