PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route guiding method for an on-vehicle navigation device capable of searching a traffic jam avoiding route or the like with agreement of a user. SOLUTION: In this method, search of the traffic jam avoiding route is started based on information from the outside of a vehicle, and respective distances and predicted passing times of the searched congestion avoiding route and an original route are displayed on a display device. Thereafter, when the route to be passed is selected by the user, the vehicle is guided so as to travel along the selected route. |
