CONSTITUTION: A pixel region on the liquid crystal side of one substrate of respective substrates disposed opposite to each other through a liquid crystal is provided with a thin film transistor driven by a scanning signal from a gate signal line, a pixel electrode to which a video signal is supplied from a drain signal line through the thin film transistor, a protection film formed by covering the thin film transistor and also the pixel electrode and a resin film formed on the upper surface of the protection film.
