PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device or the like in which the same function as that of a note personal computer is incorporated at a low cost by performing communication with a host device without mounting a CPU performing operation and large-capacity memory such as an HDD (hard disk device) and whose power consumption is lowered. SOLUTION: This information display device is provided with a radio communication part performing data exchange with radio communication, a display part displaying the data received via the radio communication part, a battery as a power source and a power source part supplying the voltage of the battery to respective parts of the device and moreover is provided with a transmission control means transmitting instruction information to the external host device via the radio communication part and a display control means which receives the data which are prepared by the host device based on the instruction information transmitted by the transmission control means with the radio communication part and displays the data on the display part.
