PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monomer casting nylon resin having high impact resistance and rigidity without adding a new component and provide a method for producing the nylon resin. SOLUTION: The objective monomer cast nylon resin produced by the monomer cast polymerization of anω-lactam has a structure characterized in that the length of the bright region observable by a polarizing microscope under crossed nicols at a magnification of 400 is <=10μm and the distance between a bright region and the adjacent bright region is <=10μm.
