PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability of removing a front guard, and to make detachment of a clip difficult even if a hand or the like mistakenly strikes the clip. SOLUTION: In this electric fan, a guard 7 comprises the front guard 6 covering the front side of a ventilation fan 4 and a rear guard 5 covering the rear side thereof. A ring body 8 of a synthetic resin installed to a base wheel 11 of the front guard 6 is fitted onto a base wheel 14 of the rear guard 5, and the clip 20 provided in the ring body 8 is operated to an approaching direction to the rear guard 5 and is locked to the base wheel 14 of the rear guard 5. A handle part 15 extending rearward is provided in the ring body 8 near the clip 20. The clip 20 comprises a shaft part 21 turnably journalled to the ring body 8, an extension part 22 extending behind the handle part 15 of the ring body 8, and an operation part 24 bending to an internal diameter direction of the ring body 8 near an end part 15a of the handle part 15.
