PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing apparatus for a grid for a battery capable of preventing a shape of a square 11a of a lead sheet 1 from deforming by forming two sheets or more of cutters 3a, 3b arranged to an upper cutter 3 of an intermediate step to a wedge shape. SOLUTION: Upper cutters 3 are mounted respectively to side faces of a stepped shape of an upper cutter mounting fixture 4 arranged above a lead sheet 1 intermittently moving a distance of two pitches each on a lower cutter fixture 2, two sheets of the cutters 3a, 3b at a third step from the outside are formed to wedge shape.
