PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article hanger which can hang articles by utilizing a curtain rail and easily and compactly ensure a storage position. SOLUTION: The article hanger 1 has arm mechanisms 40 which have first arms 20 having engaging parts 22 to the curtain rail 4 on the base end side and first turning couplings 23 on the front end side and second arms 30 having hanging rod supporting parts 32 for supporting a hanging rod 4 connected to second turning couplings 35 to the first turning couplings 23 of the first arms 20 on the base end side on the front end side and supporting leg mechanisms 50 which are connected on the top end side to the first arms 20 and have abutment parts 53b to a wall 10 on the bottom end side. The second arms 30 are movable between a use position PU parallel to the first arms 20 and a storage position where the second arms 30 overlap on the first arms 20 and the second arms 30 are movable relative to the first arms 20. When the second arms 30 exist in the use position, the second arms 30 are abutted and supported on the base end side to the first arm 20 or the supporting surfaces 52a of the supporting leg mechanisms.
