PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the malfunction of the internal circuit of an ultrasonic probe caused by external electrostatic noise by arranging a shield plate having a recessed and/or projecting structure or perforated structure in the probe. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic probe is provided with the shield plate having the recessed and/or projecting structure or perforated structure which contains a rotationally driving means, an ultrasonic vibrator 5 which is rotatably supported by a frame 4 and transmits and receives ultrasonic waves, a motor 3 with encoder which drives the rotationally driving means, and an encoder control circuit 9 which controls the motor 3 in an ultrasonic probe enclosure 1 and is connected to the shield of a coaxial cable 10. Consequently, when the external electrostatic noise is discharged into the enclosure 1, the malfunction of the encoder control circuit 9 can be prevented by means of the recessed and/or projecting structure or perforated structure of the shield plate 11. |
