PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fruit- or vegetable-containing baked confectionery excellent in flavor and appearance where flavor, palate feeling and shape each inherent in dried fruit or dried vegetable are maintained, hardly causing any cracking on the surface of the baked confectionery in spite of containing dried fruits or dried vegetables with peel, and to provide a method for making the baked confectionery. SOLUTION: This fruit- or vegetable-containing baked confectionery comprises unskinned dried fruits or unskinned dried vegetables, and a expanding agent- containing coating layer with which the surfaces of the dried fruits or dried vegetables are coated; wherein the volume ratio of the unskinned dried fruits or unskinned dried vegetables to the coating layer is (15:85) to (30:70). The other objective method is provided to achieve making the above-mentioned baked confectionery. |
