<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic waste water treating device and method by an anaerobic and aerobic filter bed method capable of preventing the deposition of sludge turning to a massive form. SOLUTION: This device consists of a first anaerobic treating vessel A which is lined up with anaerobic contact filter media in the form of a plurality of masses or assemblage having a spread in a transverse direction at prescribed intervals in the transverse direction in order to subject inflow organic waste water to, digestion treatment and is disposed with these contact filter media in a plurality of stages so as to overlap partly one above the other at the prescribed intervals, a second anaerobic treating vessel C which has a means 9 for receiving the treated water from the first anaerobic treating vessel A and is packed with the arbitrary contact filter media and an aerobic treating vessel B which has a means 9 for accepting the treated water from the second anaerobic treating vessel C, a means for subjecting the water to oxidation treatment by the blast from a blower BLB for aeration and a means 13 for discharging the treated water and further the air feed pipes from the blowers BLA and BLC for stirring are arranged in the lower parts of the first anaerobic treating vessel A and the second anaerobic treating vessel C to remove the sludge filling the spaces in the filter media 6.</p> |
