PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method and unit and program, and a storage medium where the scale of circuit to apply rotation/inverting processing to an image is minimized and adopting a high operating clock frequency for the entire unit can easily operate the unit at a high-speed with excellent extension and diversion performance. SOLUTION: The image processing unit is provided with a counter 90112 that sequentially generates and outputs a regular binary numeral signal synchronously with a clock signal, a bit replacement unit 90111 that receives an output signal of the counter as an input signal and generates and outputs a signal resulting from replacing the sequence of each bit of the input signal, a CPU 903 that controls the bit sequence replacement operation of the bit replacement unit, and a memory 9012 that stores image data. The image data stored in the memory are read synchronously with the sequential operation of the counter and the output signal generated by the bit replacement unit is outputted. |
