BUTTON OPERATION METHOD FOR DIGITAL CAMERA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a button operation method for a digital camera that allows a user to make an operation without the need for reading the instruction manual by displaying a functional explanation of a virtual button when the user selects the virtual button displayed on a menu display section of the digital camera. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display section displays a multi-menu 14 and four virtual buttons are displayed under the menu. The user can select any virtual button by using left/right/up/down keys. When the user selects the leftmost virtual button 15, the functional explanation of the virtual button 15, 'single indication' is displayed through the selection of the virtual button 15. The single menu is displayed by depressing an enter button in this state.
