Folding clothes drier (10), comprising a frame formed of two U-shaped halves (50, 60) articulated at substantially halfway up their height, a quadrangular panel (20) with electric heat generator and diffuser, hung from the top of a first half (50) of the frame and a flat clothes-line part (40) hung from the top of the second half (60) of the frame, so that the panel (20), the clothes line part (40) and the halves (50, 60) of the frame can be drawn together to assume an idle position, or else the two halves (50, 60) of the frame can be opened X-wise with the panel standing perpendicularly and the clothes line part (40) laid horizontally over the top of the panel (20) to form the operative position, the electric heat generator (80) consisting of a flat body which, with suitable electrical insulation, supports a serpentine of very high electrical conductivity, of a very thin constant transversal section and of a length sufficient for generation and diffusion of heat at a low temperature. |
