<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate information input device which does not have a position shift due to the operation of an operation member. SOLUTION: When the operation member 10 is swung, 1st and 2nd rotary members 30 and 20 rotate and then 1st and 2nd rotary plates 33 and 23 rotate associatively. At this time, the lights emitted by light emitting elements 34 and 24 pass through 1st and 2nd holes 36 and 26, but the lights transmitted through the 1st and 2nd holes 36 and 26 vary in quantity as the 1st and 2nd rotary plates 33 and 23 rotate and the quantities of the lights received by light receiving elements 35 and 25 vary. On the basis of variations of the photodetection currents of the photodetecting elements 25 and 35, the rotating directions of the operation member and the rotational angle in the XY-axial direction are detected.</p> |
