PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain highly accurately a grain feeding amount into a storage tank for a grain dryer or the like. SOLUTION: A feeding amount detecting device is provided with a linear member arranged under a condition that whose upper end side is fixed to a machine frame under hanging condition in the storage tank for feeding and storing a received matter such as grain or the like, an oscillating means for oscillating the linear member and provided near the upper end side of the storage tank, and an oscillation detecting means for detecting the oscillation of the linear member while the feeding amount is detected by the detecting condition of the oscillation. In this case, the frequency of oscillation by the oscillating means is shifted from large frequency into a small frequency to detect the resonance frequency of the linear member while the feeding amount is operated from a relation between the detected resonance frequency and the feeding amount.
