METHOD FOR SELECTING BELL SOUND OF MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A method for selecting a bell sound of a mobile communication terminal is provided to simply and quickly select a desired bell melody using voice recognition or a character message when selecting the bell melody of a remote place through a cellular phone, a computer, and a general wired telephone. CONSTITUTION: If a bell melody provider connects through a terminal and voice information or a character message for selecting a bell melody is inputted, inputted voice information or the inputted character message is transmitted to the bell melody provider. The bell melody provider receives voice information or the character message inputted from the terminal, performs voice recognition or character analysis, selects a corresponding bell melody from a database according to the recognized result, and transmits the selected bell melody to the mobile communication terminal(ST140-ST180). The mobile communication terminal receives the bell melody transmitted from the bell melody provider through a mobile communication network, sets the received bell melody as a bell sound, and outputs the set bell melody when a ring signal is sensed.
