PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To let a user to attentively listen to the contents of a message starting from the beginning of the message generated in the voice synthesizers of various electric appliances. SOLUTION: The device is constituted of a means 101 through which message contents are inputted, an information processing device 103 which processes data in accordance with programs, an acoustic output controller 104, an acoustic output device 105, an external storage device 106 which stores data and programs, a voice synthesizing program 161 which generates voice waveforms based on the character strings of the message contents, a program 162 which controls the controller 104, a voice piece waveform database 163 which is used to generate the voice waveforms, a voice attentively listening sound inserting program 164 which inserts expiration sound that is voice attentive listening sound into the front section of the generated voice waveforms and an attentively listening sound database 165. By inserting voice attentively listening sound in the front section of the voice waveforms, the contents of the message to be transmitted to the user is heared attentively from the beginning of the message. |
