PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing, a column, and a hemoglobin-measuring method to use the same, capable of more highly accurately separating hemoglobins in a shorter time than conventional methods. SOLUTION: The packing for cation-exchange liquid chromatography is used for the hemoglobin-measuring method, a holding power parameter measured through the use of a phosphoric acid buffer solution (pH 5.60) of 80 mM by a stable-type HbA1c retention power testing method is 2.5-60, and/or a retention power parameter measured through the use of phosphoric acid buffer solution (pH 5.50) of 30 mM, containing perchloric acid of 45 mM, is 1.5-60.
