PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information retrieval system and method that can obtain a retrieval condition which a user designates in the past for respective retrieval results and can easily change the retrieval condition which is designated in the past, and to provide a retrieval result supply device and method, a retrieval result displaying device and method, and a recording medium recording the method. SOLUTION: The retrieval condition which the user designates in the past and the retrieval result obtained by designating the retrieval condition are included in an iron picture ip displayed in a second management area R2 as associated information. When a mouse cursor C is arranged on the display position of the icon picture ip and a right click operation is performed, the retrieval condition included in the icon picture ip as associated information is displayed on a retrieval condition display area R31 and the retrieval result is displayed on a retrieval result display area R32. When the user operates a mouse 95 and clicks the retrieval condition displayed on the retrieval condition display area R31, the retrieval condition can be changed.
