<p>The surface of aluminiferous metal is coated with a treatment agent that contains (A) water-soluble polymer having a main chain to which is bonded at least one functional group selected from carboxyl groups, amide groups, hydroxyl groups, sulfonic acid groups, and phosphonic acid groups; and (B) phenolic compound in which a total of at least five OH groups are directly bonded to a polycyclic structure that contains at least one aromatic ring structure. Optionally, (C) a glycidyl-functional organic compound is also present. A hydrophilic coating is formed on the aluminiferous metal surface by heating to solidify or dry the treatment agent.</p> |
