<p>The throwing arm for a machine throwing clay targets is constructed with a front edge, or leading edge of the target, of the adjustable throwing arm (14). Said edge is mounted separately pivoting on an element of the main body which, itself, is mounted pivoting to throw the target. By adjusting the angle of the leading edge of the throwing arm, by offsetting it relative to a median line passing through the central pivot (13) of the main body of the throwing arm, the angle between two targets simultaneously thrown can be varied, from an angle which is smaller than that of standard devices to an angle larger than that of standard devices. Another improvement consists in constructing the leading edge with materials having different friction coefficients so as to obtain additional modifications of the angle at which the targets are thrown by the machine wherein the throwing arm is used.</p> |
